For those who wish to travel to Japan for medical treatment or for a second opinion (International medical examination)

We not only treat foreign patients living in Japan, but also accept cases where overseas residents visit Japan and wish to be treated at our clinic, or where overseas residents who have difficulty in coming to Japan wish to consult online about their diagnosis or treatment plan.
In principle, we ask an AMTAC (Accredited Medical Travel Assistance Company) to serve as an intermediary for coordinator services. An AMTAC is a company certified by Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ) to provide high quality support services for patients visiting Japan to receive medical services.
When a foreign patient wishes to receive a medical examination or consultation at our hospital, he/she is required to go through a certified medical travel support company to complete the procedures. Please note that the coordination fee is the responsibility of the patient, and we ask for your understanding in order to ensure smooth and safe medical treatment.

Eligible Patients

・Those who do not have a Japanese health insurance card
・Those who live overseas
・Those whose native language is not Japanese or whose communication in Japanese is limited.

※If any of the above applies to you, we request that you use a certified medical travel support company and have a medical interpreter present.
※Some people do not wish to arrange for a medical interpreter because they have family members who speak Japanese, but interpreting everyday conversation is different from interpreting medical terminology. Furthermore, a neutral and impartial interpreter is necessary. In order to provide safe and reliable medical care at our hospital, we request the presence of a medical interpreter who can assist in mutual understanding by using his/her interpretation skills and medical knowledge.

Medical travel (for overseas residents who wish to come to Japan and receive medical treatment at our clinic)

Those who have traveled for medical care have two options: medical examination or medical consultation

The “medical examination” consists of a medical examination for cardiovascular diseases, scheduled examinations (additional examinations may be discussed on the same day), and treatment.
The “medical consultation” is for those with concerns about cardiovascular disease, to listen directly to their current symptoms, diagnosis or treatment of cardiovascular disease and provide our opinions.
・The purpose of this direct consultation is to help you decide what kind of examination to choose in the future under Japan’s private medical system offered at Japanese medical institutions.
